AV CAMP

September 2025

Thank you to our guest speaker, Charles Ajalat, who spoke with our Adult Campers about the importance of leadership within our local church communities as well as on a diocese level.

We hope to have even more Adult Campers next year and break the record once again!

The Antiochian Village is excited to roll out a new video segment on our social media platforms called "Front Porch Chats". The name is inspired by all the wonderful moments at camp that reminds us of the warmth, connection, and simplicity of being at AV, like sitting together on the front porch.

These short videos will be uploaded 2 times a month and will highlight different Villagers from AV. From alumni to volunteers to current campers, we want to give everyone a space to share their favorite camp memories and personal insight into their camp experience. Just like any good talk on the front porch, these chats will be rooted in connection and will serve as a memory of how much camp feels like home!

Check out our first 2 Front Porch Chats (FPC) posted on Instagram and Facebook!

Fort Ligonier Days is a 3-day festival in October where AV staff and alumni work in a party filled gyro booth to raise money for camp! We anticipate attracting thousands of customers during this weekend and selling A LOT of gyros! All proceeds go directly to making camp a better place!

Official Fort Ligonier Days: October 10 - October 12 (Friday - Sunday)

Hey AV Alumni! Do you love flipping through our photo albums when you come to visit? Well our previous Director of Communications Constantine Kallaur has scanned all of our photos from our photo collection going all the way back to 1981! In an effort to preserve the history of The Antiochian Village, we are in the process of digitizing as much content as we have. Our Director of Operations, Nick Dujmovic, has collected camp videos going all the way back to the 1990s as well.

Check out our SmugMug photo-site and our Vimeo page below to re-live the AV memories!
