We hope everyone had a wonderful and fun night of Trick 'o Treating!

Diwali, also called Deepavali, is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions such as Jainism and Sikhism. It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance

City of Hutto has a FIREWORK BAN on at all times.

Do not light any fireworks at your home or on common area property.

The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and remember friends and family members who have died.

Important Updates

Quick FYIs

  • These emails are intended for only residents (tenants, homeowners, landlords/property managers). Please use the "Update Profile" link at the bottom of this email to update your profile. The list is scrubbed once a quarter. This applies mostly to tenants, property management companies, and residents not on the deed of records.
  • The medians received a landscaping glow up this week! We how you enjoy the new look and better visibility!
  • The office will be closed November 11th, 28th, and 29th.
  • Amenity Use: The pavilions and soccer field are first come, first serve. You must remove all trash, confetti, balloons, etc. from the area when you use them. Keep in mind, we have a lot of dogs taking their moms and dads on walks. Animals ingesting these items can be deadly.
  • Dogwalkers: It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. We do not have a dog waste pickup vendor in place. These are a costly service. There are 10 dog waste stations available for use. They are replenished and cleaned on Mondays by our landscaper. Please do not contribute to the pollution of our waterway right next to the trail.
  • Alleyway Trashcans: Reminder, they can be on the driveway near the garage. They may not be in the alleyways on non-trash days.
  • Speeding on Emory Crossing Blvd: Please reduce your speed to 30 mph, especially in the mornings and afternoons when our school children are walking to the bus stops. Close Patrol has been requested through the Hutto Police Department. While this service is not guaranteed, we are on the list. .
  • Some Alleyways are One-Way. Please do not drive down the alleys going the wrong way. This is a recipe for disaster.
  • Neighborhood Crime Watch Program: The Police Department suffered staffing issues during and after COVID. The program director position is vacant. They intend to fill the position early 2025. For the City of Hutto's Crime Watch information flyers, please visit their website. This program is resident run, not HOA run. The HOA is happy to provide information if we have it.
  • Compliance drives are every other week, typically on Wednesday.
  • Trail Walks and Amenity reviews are every week, typically on Tuesday. If you would like to join me, please send me a message. The walks begin around 8:15 am and end around 9 am.
  • FAQs are being updated on the website. If you think an important Q&A has been missed, please message the office.

There will be no assessment increase for 2025. Please verify that your account is paid in full, as the last assessment for 2024 was posted October 1st. The new portal URL is: www.ccmcnet.com/portal.

Reminders:

We appreciate everyone's efforts on their landscaping. The overall look of the neighborhood is improving with your help! Don't forget, there is a Landscaping Tips & Tricks on the website if you need ideas. Rocks must be weed-free at all times.

Please do not wash hands or put sand in the drinking fountains. This clogs the fountain, which requires an expensive repair. If you are caught damaging property, you could be charged for the damage repairs.

Trash days are Mondays/Tuesdays. Cans must be stored out of view Wednesday - Sunday. Alleyways can store cans on driveway near garage.

Basketball goals: Permanent goals are not permitted. Portable goals may be in view while in active use. They must be stored per the documents all other times.

Did your tree die recently? Now is the time to prepare to replant. We recommend a certified arborist plant your tree. Trees planted improperly will be prone to disease and a shorter lifespan.
