Transformed Into His Likeness, in the Fellowship Hall. A 5-week class on biblical principles of change.

Now Meeting
Growth Groups
A Growth Group is 7 to 15 people who meet weekly to study the Bible, connect through fellowship, and pray for one another: our primary way of helping people grow as disciples. Groups meet Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings, in leaders' homes or at the church, plus a Wednesday morning women's group and Thrive for young adults 18 to early 30s. Groups run through mid-May.
Spots are still open if you'd like to join.
Most groups will work through the book of Ephesians, then The Blessing of Humility by Jerry Bridges, then an elective chosen by your leader. Some study other material, including Revelation, marriage enrichment, and parenting.
Questions? Contact Executive Pastor Ed Fedor at efedor@cornerstonemayfield.org or 440-442-6470.

Have You Left Your First Love?
Greg Morse writes for anyone who still believes the right things but has gone cold toward Jesus. He takes the three commands Jesus gives Ephesus in Revelation 2:5 (remember, repent, and do the works you did at first) and turns them into honest steps back.

The Letter to the Church in Ephesus
From Ligonier’s Tabletalk, Dennis Johnson walks through Ephesus itself, a city built around the temple of Artemis, and reads the lost “first love” as love for one another. In his reading, their zeal for sound doctrine had outrun the love Paul told them to speak it with.

Saturday, October 24 · 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM · No Childcare
Building a Spiritual Foundation in Marriage and at Home
We're setting aside a morning to think together about building a marriage and a home on Christ. Pastor Paul Tautges will teach on marriage, and Pastor Ryan Thomas on family. From there, you'll choose two of three breakouts: thinking biblically about discipline, practical ways to lead your home to worship, and wisdom for time and home management.
Breakfast and lunch are both provided, and we'll close together in the sanctuary. $30 for one, $50 for a couple.
Please note: childcare is not available for this event.
