You may have seen them on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, Showtime at the Apollo, and more. Now, they’re bringing the laughs to New Orleans.

The Green Book Comedy Tour, presented by the Martha’s Vineyard Comedy Festival and founded by Xavier alumnus Steve Capers ’91, makes its New Orleans stop at Xavier University of Louisiana on Thursday, November 5, for a night of stand-up, music and nonstop entertainment — and the entire city is invited.

Taking the stage are Damon Williams, whose career has included the Kings of Comedy Tour, BET’s ComicView and the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show, and Jeremiah “JJ” Williamson, known for appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView and Showtime at the Apollo, as well as touring with Cedric the Entertainer. DJ Dolla Bill will keep the party going, bringing the music, energy, and good vibes between the laughs.

Whether you’re a longtime comedy fan, looking for a great date night, or just ready for a fun night out with friends, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
