2025 Summer Pops Services:
Summer Pops has a summer of (6) concerts at the LA County Arboretum beginning June 21st, and we'd like to invite your students to sign-up as volunteers earning community service hours. Our volunteer ushers are energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing folks who scan tickets, carry picnic baskets and help patrons navigate the venue safely. Most volunteers are high school or college-aged students, but we welcome service-minded adults to help fill out our diverse group of 80+ volunteers per concert. If you know any parents or teachers who'd like to participate, please forward this along.
Saturday concert shifts typically run 7-7.5 hours, but we also offer a shorter 3-hour Friday night shift preceding the concerts if your schedule is limited. Meals are provided on concert days and ushers are welcome to watch the performance when they're not working. Please select the shifts that work for you and add the dates to your calendar now to help avoid scheduling conflicts later in the season.

Saturday, Aug. 23 - Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles

I'm so grateful for the outpouring of support from our community surrounding Pasadena this season. As a nonprofit, we've collected and redistributed over 300 instruments donated to students who lost theirs in the wildfires. Now, more than ever, I believe in the power of music to give our neighbors a space for healing as we collectively navigate this difficult time together. We could not bring these events to life without our amazing, very appreciated crew of ushers. Thanks again for supporting us and sharing this volunteering opportunity with your students/staff!
