Spring Valley is a hub, Volunteers needed.
The Regional Taskforce on Homelessness (RTFH) would like to extend a warm happy holiday season to everyone that has supported our efforts to ensure housing equity for all throughout San Diego county.
In the spirit of giving, we commend your diligent efforts throughout the year for donating and volunteering within our community. During this holiday season, we would like to extend to you another opportunity to participate in our annual Point in Time Count. Earlier this year your devotion to service was able to help the Regional Task Force on Homelessness account for at least 10,264 individuals experiencing homelessness throughout San Diego county. Your act of kindness in speaking with those throughout the region, listening to their life stories, and providing them with goodies that they could use to keep warm did not go unnoticed.
We are spreading the word to those within our community to help RTFH once again gather the necessary data to better understand the population of youth, veterans, older adults, families, and individuals that are experiencing homelessness as far north as Oceanside and as far south as San Ysidro. We need your help! Sign up to volunteer using our website or the flyer attached to this email. In addition, share our flyer and the volunteer link with friends, family, and co-workers!
We sincerely hope that you decide to join us on January 25, 2024 for our annual Point in Time Count. After all, we all count. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you this January.
Note: We are also recruiting volunteers for evening shifts as well from 6:30pm-9pm. Specific sites are listed on our volunteer registration form linked above.
