Notice of paving operations on Belle Isle beginning tonight, August 12, 2026

Project Update

The contractor for the Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main project encountered unforeseen field conditions during the scheduled water main shutdown on Belle Isle earlier today. As a result, excavation work was required near 31 Island Avenue, prompting adjustments to the original traffic plan.

The contractor will return to this location tonight, August 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to complete paving at the intersection. To support continued access to 31 Island Avenue, construction crews will maintain ingress and egress to the property throughout this operation.

Please follow all posted signage throughout the neighborhood to safely navigate the detours. Residents are advised that this schedule may change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important infrastructure improvements, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
