New Board Member, Allison Greene
New Board Member, Kylie Springs

Greetings!

The Child Center of NY is pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Greene and Kylie Springs to its Board of Directors. The newcomers join our board of 28 dedicated, experienced professionals with a common goal to support our mission and help families and communities reach their full potential.

Ms. Greene has more than 30 years of finance experience, starting her career in banking while attending Mercy College, where she also earned an MBA. She is also a founding member of My Sister’s Keepers, a mentor group for young girls located in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Ms. Springs, a double alumna of St. John’s University, is a first-year real estate associate with Farrell Fritz, P.C. in the firm's Uniondale, New York office. She works with landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers of commercial, retail, and industrial properties, as well as with investors and stakeholders in both simple and complex property transactions.

“The mission and vision of The Child Center align with my passion for community service. One of the programs that resonates with me is the residential facility in Brooklyn that a colleague and I had the opportunity to tour,” said Ms. Greene. “Meeting the staff and the residents and learning firsthand about the program was a key factor in my decision to become a part of this great organization.”

Said Ms. Springs: “While studying at St. John’s University in Queens, I volunteered my time at the Briarwood Family Residence, working with the children who resided there. Working with children has always stood out to me as one of the most impactful ways to make a difference, as the smallest of efforts can completely turn a child’s life around. That belief of mine is one of the main reasons I am honored to join the Board of The Child Center.”
