Hey Parents and Guardians! 👋

What a fun week in FBCLC Students!

Christmas in October?! WHY NOT?! 🎁 Wednesday night was a blast as our students helped prepare hundreds of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for LCCA and our church to fill and send to kids around the world. We love seeing our students be part of sharing the love of Jesus!

Saturday was so sweet as our girls gathered for a fun morning of pumpkin painting, laughter, and fellowship! 🎃

And Sunday was the best as we worshiped together with our church family and gathered in Life Groups to grow in our faith, build friendships, and experience community!

I LOVE what God is doing in FBCLC Students, and we're excited for all that's ahead…. ESPECIALLY FALL RETREAT in less than 2 weeks! 🙌

WHAT'S HAPPENING

We want to see students serving and leading in our student ministry and church! One great way to get involved is through our Student Worship Team and Tech Team on Wednesday nights. If your student is interested in using their gifts to serve and lead through worship, sound, lights, or tech, let us know below!

Students can earn money toward Fall Retreat, Mission Trips, Summer Camp, and DNOW by serving church members through yard work! It will be from 9 AM to 12 PM on November 21. Lots of yards are signed up to be worked on!

YOU & ME: A 5-week series on Discipleship and Spiritual Mentorship.

Throughout Scripture, we see how God uses relationships to help people grow in wisdom, faith, courage, and obedience. Each week, we’ll explore a different biblical relationship and challenge students to consider who helps them follow Jesus and whom they can help follow Jesus. Our goal is for students to see that following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. We need each other as we grow, so we can know and follow Jesus together!

· September 30: Jethro and Moses - Exodus 18:9-11,14-21

· October 7: Moses and Joshua – Numbers 27:12-23

· October 21: Eli and Samuel – 1 Samuel 3:1-10, 15-18

· October 28: Barnabas & Paul – Acts 9:26-28, 11:22-26, 15:36-40

· November 4: Paul & Timothy – Acts 16:1-5, 2 Timothy 2:1-2, 3:10-12

THE LIFE: A Discipleship-centered Bible Study

The Life is designed to help students clearly understand what it means to live as a committed follower of Jesus. Saving faith is not simply a one-time decision. It is a lifelong call to follow Christ with devotion and obedience. Through unit-based, Scripture-centered studies, students will explore how a relationship with Jesus transforms every area of their lives. They will learn that biblical faith is not marked by unchanged living, but by daily growth, surrender, and a life of discipleship. The Life will equip students to confidently live out their faith and become more like Jesus each day.
