PTSA AWARDS - CONGRATULATIONS

During our last PTSA General Meeting on May 13, the following ICS PTSA Awards were presented:

  • Outstanding Educators: Jacob Hendrickson, Lauren Jackson and Zachary Aquino
  • This is a Washington State PTA award given in recognition of an individual who goes beyond the normal expectations of their job to make the learning environment fun, beneficial, and challenging.
  • Golden Acorn Award: Sanjeevini Mittal and Tarek Azoz
  • This is the highest Washington State PTA award given to individuals for outstanding service in the school community. ICS PTSA makes a donation to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation in the name of each of our recipients, which in turn funds $10,000 in scholarships to high school seniors for post secondary education.
  • Phoenix Award: Wei Feng and Jeff Chu
  • This award is given in recognition of an individual who has done an exceptional job on a task or committee. This award is unique to ICS.

Thank you to all parents and teachers who contribute time, energy and funds to our community!

CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE FINAL FBLA PIZZA FUNDRAISER:

FRIDAY, MAY 29th

Future Business Leaders of America recently had great success at the regional FBLA competition, with several students advancing to the state competition in Spokane, congratulations!

As they continue their journey toward nationals and future opportunities, we’d like to share a reminder about their ongoing Pizza Fundraiser, which helps support student participation and related expenses.

Students will be serving up delicious Costco pizza slices for just $4.00, or you can grab a slice + soda combo for only $5.00. Sales will take place on Fridays after school so swing by, bring your friends and treat yourself!

This fundraiser is open to all students and staff, so everyone is welcome to join in. Just don't forget - cash only!

Come support FBLA and make your Fridays a little more fun. See you there!
