Undergraduate Research Day is this Wednesday, April 30. This celebration of research and creativity across majors, general education, and the Honors program is on the Albany campus, and lunch is provided.

This ceremony honors the valedictorian and salutatorian, students who have achieved academic and student life excellence, and the faculty who educate and mentor them. It is in the Armory, Albany campus. Doors open at 3:15 p.m.; ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. A light reception follows.

IT reminds you that that Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 Cybersecurity Training must be completed by tomorrow, April 29!

Taylor Gillespie '22 Named Head Women's Tennis Coach


Athletics has promoted Taylor Gillespie to head women's tennis coach. Gillespie was a standout student-athlete, and as assstant coach, helped guide the team to a record-setting 2024 season. Read more about Gillespie

Students Win ADDY Awards


Five Graphic + Media Design students won ADDY Awards from the Capital Region chapter of the American Advertising Federation, with Ty Ardman (pictured) receiving the student Best in Show award for a 3D animation titled "Launch." Ardman's project went on to receive a Silver award at the regional level and is advancing to the national competition. Bailey Bates, Gabrielle Deck, Madeline Marcinko, and Angela Silecchia also received ADDYs. Read more about the award-winning projects.

More E8 Honors for Gators


Men's Lacrosse student-athlete Jordon Hankel was named the Empire 8 Conference's Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 20.


Women's softball pitcher Leah Madore threw two no hitters in back-to-back conference game starts.


And a trio of golfers earned All-E8 honors: Shane Kammerman and Elijah Waterhouse were named to the All-Conference Third Team, and Devin Gilbert was named a Sportsman of the Year.
