  • Smash City Burgers
  • Pita Stroller
  • Roti Rolls
  • Co Hog
  • Wich Cream

Living with Snakes

If you enjoyed coming out to our informational meeting about coyotes and alligators, we have another event in September.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 10 for an informational meeting all about living with snakes on Seabrook Island. The original August date had to be moved to September due to Tropical Storm Debby.

It will be held at the Lake House in Live Oak Hall at 7 PM. SCDNR’s Andrew Gross, State Herpetologist and Certified Wildlife Biologist, will be the featured guest speaker.

How to get storm town updates

We wanted to send a reminder, as we head into peak hurricane season, on how the town sends out storm-related updates.

If you are receiving this e-newsletter you will get all storm-related email updates if a storm is expected to impact Seabrook Island. We sent preparation email updates the weekend leading up to Tropical Storm Debby and sent mulitple daily updates throughout the week as Debby impacted our area. You will receive the same type of emails for any upcoming storms.

If your neighbor, family or friends are NOT getting these updates they need to sign up their preferred email address to receive them. You can send them this link or tell them to head to our town website townofseabrookisland.org, and the sign-up is on our homepage. The link to sign-up is also sent out every Monday through Tidelines or they can come to Town Hall to sign-up.

We also put all of the storm updates that are emailed out in our "Emergency Notices" section under the "News and Events" tab on our town website. During any storm, the homepage of our website will also have the updates linked at the top of the page, so it'll be the first thing you see as soon as you go to townofseabrookisland.org.

Lastly, our storm updates are also posted to all of social media accounts. Our Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram all share the same message we send out via email and post to the town website.
