Good Friday morning, Wrightsboro Family!

Pastor Tyler is taking some much needed time away. While Pastor Tyler is away, if you need something still reach out and I will do my best to help or find someone who can help. Pastor Bobby Whittaker will be preaching this Sunday on John 1:35-42 with a sermon entitled "Are you an Andrew?".

As we get closer to the end of the year, you will notice the church calendar filling up with various events and activities. I encourage you to find something to attend. There will be concerts, family activities, decorating the church for Advent and Christmas, the Christmas Extravaganza (all hands needed for this one!) and of course the Christmas Eve service. I have to admit; I love the candles on Christmas Eve with the singing of "Silent Night".

CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA VOLUNTEER MEETING

Christmas Extravaganza volunteer meeting will be on Sunday, November 1 in the sanctuary. The Extravaganza will be on December 5 and we need everyone to help with this event. 

ALL SAINT'S DAY

We will observe All Saints’ Sunday on November 1. If you would like to remember a loved one, fill out a form and place it in the basket in the lobby or click the button below.

CONCERT

Sylvia Ritchie and Amanda Hunter will be having a benefit concert at Wrightsboro UMC on Sunday, November 15 at 3pm. All proceeds will be for AV equipment for the church. 

SCOUT BBQ FUNDRAISER

The scout troops 257 and 1257 will be having a BBQ plate fundraiser on Saturday, November 14 from 10:30am-2:00pm. Tickets will be on sale for $12 and will be available for sale November 8 in the lobby. See Mark Hollifield for more information. 

FOOD PANTRY

This month's needs: tomato soup, cereal, baked beans, dry pasta (not spaghetti). canned peas, beets, carrots or mixed vegetables, jelly, Top Ramen (chicken or beef).

The current hours for the Food Pantry are Wednesday 8:30 - 10:00, and Thursday 3:15 - 4:30. If you have food donations, please feel free to drop them off in the lobby. Suzanne is here at the church most days from 8:30 - 12:30. Thank you for your continued support of our Food Pantry! 

We are accepting plastic shopping bags.  

CHILDREN'S CORNER



Our Children's Ministry at Wrightsboro UMC is a fun, welcoming place where children can grow in their faith, build friendships, and experience God's love. We have opportunities for every child, from birth through 5th grade!

Our nursery is available from 9:45–11:15 a.m. for children under the age of 5 who have not yet started Kindergarten, providing a safe and caring environment while parents worship.

Wrightsboro Kids Church takes place during our 10:00 a.m. worship service. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are encouraged to begin worship with their families (or check in with Ms. Hannah before the service). Following the offering, children are invited to join Ms. Hannah in the Kids Center for an engaging Bible lesson, games, hands-on activities, and plenty of fun as they grow in their faith together.
