Each fall we come together to celebrate the lives of innocent little ones that have come into this world because their birth mothers reached out to us so their baby could have a future. By placing their newborn for adoption, they gave their baby an opportunity to grow up surrounded by a loving family.

It has now been over 20 years that Safe Haven for Newborns began saving lives and those little bundles of joy with their little hands reaching for the future are growing up. Many are now teens on their way to college; and on the path to a bright future. Others are just getting started on their life’s journey and are taking baby steps. To date, the Safe Haven for Newborns family counts with 366 precious lives. Wonder what will they be when they are all grown up?

Our annual gala celebrates all these precious lives and encourages them to grow and explore what they want to be; what their contribution to the world will be. Thanks to our generous supporters, we are able to be there for the birth mothers with the support and guidance she needs, when she needs it the most.

But there is still so much more that we need to do so we can be present for those little ones that are yet to be born.

All services offered by A Safe Haven for Newborns are confidential and totally anonymous; and, all services are offered at no cost to the girls, women in crisis. A Safe Haven for Newborns seeks to address the escalating crisis of infant abandonment by providing non-judgmental help and resources. A plight that crosses all categories of age, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.

As you all know, our only source of raising the funds needed to pay for the services the expectant mothers in crises need — referral for medical related issues, shelter, and counseling to name a few — comes from four annual events — gala, golf, 5K walk/run, and virtual telethon. We are asking you to please help us help the newborn. Your participation in the gala and your donation allows us to help the scared, pregnant young woman when she reaches out to us in despair. Will you help us?
