2024 Rising Star Scholarship

Last Friday we honored the 2024 Rising Star Scholarship recipients at the yearly breakfast ceremony. This marks the 10th year of the program and we cannot wait to continue honoring more students.

This year we awarded 30 students over $22,000 in scholarships to help them achieve their goals of higher education, with many of the students being the first in their families to attend college.

Read more about the event here.

None of this could've been possible without the generosity of our sponsors who highly believe in investing in the youth of our community for a better future for all.

Clean Energy Alliance

On April 1, CEA became the default energy provider for the City of Vista. CEA now purchases energy on the community’s behalf. San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) continues to deliver the energy purchased or generated by CEA through SDG&E’s power lines to your home or business. You will also continue to receive a single bill from SDG&E. CEA’s energy generation charge on your bill is not an extra charge, it simply replaces SDG&E’s previous charge for electricity generation. By managing energy generation for Vista, CEA can purchase and offer power with a higher percentage of renewable resources that are cleaner and less harmful to the environment. This month, Vista customers will receive the third of four mailers that explain our energy transition in greater depth. Learn more about CEA and Vista's energy transition at TheCleanEnergyAlliance.org or call 833-232-3110.
