It’s simple – our kids are still recovering. The ripple effects from the pandemic are just starting to be felt by our most vulnerable at-risk children and families. Parents are struggling to get back to work, absenteeism as well as youth violence is rising, and mental health concerns are prevalent in every kid and caregiver that enter our doors. Throughout the most difficult days of 2021, we operated programs at 4 site locations and provided wraparound support services to over 1,300 kids per year.

But when kids have the Club and we have you, tough times lead to great futures. A hot meal, help with homework, a sports league, 3D printing activity or an art project. A kind and encouraging word from someone who believes in you. A series of positive youth development experiences add up to a great future for young people, especially those who need us most.

It has been another tough year. Thank you for giving our kids these positive moments. Now through Dec. 31, your investment in Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke will ensure more kids have access to high quality academic success, healthy lifestyle, and good character and citizenship programs. More importantly, your gift will translate towards meaningful life experiences to get through the toughest times and achieve their next great moment.
