Preparing Staff for New School Year

As we prepare for the new school year, it's essential that we are ready for the path ahead. A key part of this readiness is making sure that everyone has completed their mandatory trainings. These trainings lay the groundwork for our dedication to excellence in early childhood education.

MSDE need staff to take at these three courses to work in the childcare environment: First Aid/CPR, Basic Health and Safety, and Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act. These courses are intended to provide staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver the highest quality of care to our children. ENOUGH Grant Program

We are thrilled to share a new funding opportunity from the Governor’s Office of Children (GOC) – the ENOUGH Grant Program! This initiative supports early childhood development, education, and community health.

The ENOUGH (Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households) Grant Program fights poverty and builds strong support systems. It unites sectors like education, health, workforce, housing, and safety.

Grants will range from $65,000 to $5,000,000.
