365+ CLUB: Ian

Waiting for a home for 371 days

Ian has a big personality in his little 14 lb body! This sweet 8-year-old Rat Terrier / Jack Russell mix loves toys, puzzle games, and going for walks. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly affectionate and will happily curl up in your lap.

Ian takes time to warm up to new people, especially men, but with some treats, he’ll be your best buddy! Ian’s ideal home would be him as the only pet as he doesn't like to share his food and toys. He recently went to the park with our volunteer and was very calm in the car. He soaked up the sun during their picnic together.

"My sons volunteered at APR for service hours many years ago, and I saw what a wonderful place it was with devoted staff, excellent medical care, and a huge effort to get animals adopted.

I became part of a team of people who make a difference in the world and do it with heart. I look forward to doing whatever I can to contribute and spending time with all the beautiful, sweet dogs and cats. I am part of a bigger picture, fulfilling a larger responsibility, and volunteering at APR makes a real impact."
