Where Should I Start?
First, ask yourself what you are hoping to gain from a graduate program. Do you want to take a deeper dive into a specific subject, such as finance, accounting, or analytics? If so, a specialty master's program (MS) can help you polish those skills until you are a subject matter expert companies need. Do you feel like you need a broader understanding of multiple areas of business? If so, an MBA might be the right fit.

Master of Science in Accounting - Online!
|
|
The MSA was established to provide students with an advanced level of accounting knowledge relevant to today’s accounting professionals. Why Accounting? As the "language of business" there are accounting positions within organizations in virtually all industries.
UConn's Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program is an excellent complement to any major. With only 10 courses (30 credits) to complete the MSA, students majoring or minoring in accounting may complete the program in as few as two semesters. Although, with three trimesters (summer, fall, and spring) and 18 course offerings, many students choose to complete the program in a year.
Not an undergraduate accounting major or minor? That's ok! We offer the Accounting Fundamentals Certificate that paves the way to MSA for non-accounting undergraduates. Applications to the MSA program are accepted for fall, spring & summer.
Applications for Summer 2021 are being accepted now. Apply today!

Part-Time MBA:
Open to Class of 2021 Graduating Seniors!
|
|
In an effort to support our Class of 2021 School of Business graduating class, UCONN’s Part-time MBA program has reserved a limited number of Fall 2021 seats for high-achieving UCONN School of Business graduates who do not meet the standard minimum requirement of two years of work experience that would typically be required for admission to the Part-time MBA.
The acceptance of applicants who have less than 2 years of work experience will not be a permanent policy, but given current disruptions in the job market, the PMBA program is committed to helping all School of Business Huskies reach their highest potential.
If you are interested in getting more information about this opportunity please email Jamie Kirschner at PMBA@uconn.edu and our admissions counselors will be happy to discuss this option with you.
