On this edition of Hear In Hanover, the County's new General Registrar and Director of Elections, Dave Nichols, joins us to share what voters need to know about the Hanover's new early voting center. The process remains the same, but voters will enjoy an improved location inside the newly renovated Wickham Building.
Plus, learn about Hanover County's new sticker design contest that invites residents to put their creativity on display and design the stickers handed out to voters at future elections.

The Voter Registration and Elections Office is inviting Hanover students and residents to put their creativity to work and design an original sticker celebrating voting and civic participation. Four winning designs will be selected — one in each category — and could become the stickers Hanover voters proudly wear during elections beginning in 2027.
Categories include:
- Elementary School: Future Voter Sticker
- Middle School: I Voted Sticker
- High School: I Voted Sticker
- Hanover County Resident: I Voted Sticker
Submit your design by Monday, Nov. 30, online at engage.hanovercounty.gov/stickercontest or by mail or in person to the Voter Registration and Elections Office in the Wickham Building, 7497 County Complex Road, P.O. Box 419, Hanover, VA 23069.
Students may also submit artwork through interoffice mail at their school.

The Hanover County Board of Supervisors presented Dankos with a letter of recognition for his quick thinking, bravery and selfless actions.
Thank you, John, for stepping up when someone needed help most!
