A Child Born of Promise
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…”
—Isaiah 9:6
At Christmas, we celebrate a promise fulfilled in a way no one expected. The Savior of the world did not arrive with fanfare or certainty but quietly, in a stable, entrusted to ordinary people who said yes to an extraordinary calling.
Mary and Joseph’s journey was not easy or tidy. It was marked by questions, uncertainty, and trust. Yet God chose their obedience to usher in hope for the world.
In many ways, the Snowflakes journey reflects this same sacred pattern.
Embryo adoption is a story of waiting—waiting for answers, waiting for clarity, waiting for God’s timing. It is a story of trust, placing something precious into God’s hands and into the care of others. And it is a story of faith, believing that life, even in its earliest form, holds immeasurable value and purpose.
Christmas reminds us that God often works through what seems small, unseen, or overlooked. A baby in a manger. An embryo preserved and protected. A family willing to open their hearts. What the world may consider fragile, God calls powerful.
As we reflect this season, may we remember that hope is not delayed by time, and promises are not diminished by waiting. God is faithful to complete the story He has begun.
Whether you are discerning next steps, actively waiting, celebrating answered prayers, or walking through uncertainty—know this: you are part of a greater narrative of redemption and life.
This Christmas, may your heart be filled with peace, your spirit renewed with hope, and your home reminded that Emmanuel—God with us—is still at work.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
—John 1:5
Merry Christmas from all of us at Snowflakes.
Thank you for being part of this beautiful story of life, love, and hope. ❄️
