Greetings!

THISHappy Tuesday morning to you all. Did you enjoy The American Express Golf Tournament in the City of La Quinta this weekend? It certainly helps keep the Coachella Valley on the map. The weather was cool, but not too cold, and hopefully the influx of visitors also meant more model home tours throughout the valley.

DVBA’s Board of Directors Installation Dinner is approaching quickly — this Friday, January 30th. Get your tickets today, as registration will close tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, January 28th, so the catering department can finalize counts and ensure there is enough food for everyone. This promises to be a momentous event at Agua Caliente Resort/Casino/Spa in Rancho Mirage, upstairs in the exclusive Sunset Room. We will be swearing in existing directors committing to two more years on the Board, as well as welcoming new directors being sworn in for the first time. We are also hosting a Local event after dinner, along with presentations you will not want to miss. Seating is limited, click here to register now.

Our next Public Officials Luncheon will feature La Quinta City Manager Jon McMillen on February 25, 2026, at the Embassy Suites located off Calle Tampico and Santa Rosa Road in downtown La Quinta. Click here to register now.

On March 18th, we will host the City of Rancho Mirage for our Public Officials Luncheon. We will return to the Sunset Suite Room at Agua Caliente Resort/Casino/Spa in Rancho Mirage. The flyer is now posted on the website calendar, and registrations will open on February 26th. In addition, something special is in the works for April, as planned by the Events Committee.

We held our second committee meeting last week. Future meetings are scheduled for the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. (bring your own lunch). Please contact Vickie Murguia for more information at Vickie@TheDVBA.org or (760) 776-7001.

Below are the four committees or councils the Desert Valleys Builders Association invites you to consider joining or leading to help pursue your goals for both the DVBA and your business:
