SMA to Host Annual Meeting & Officer Installation
Hybrid Event: In-person & Zoom option
You are invited to join the SMA Board of Directors for our Annual Meeting & Officer Installation. We are excited to offer a hybrid platform for this meeting with an in-person option at Watertown Golf Club where we will enjoy a seated dinner on the outside patio, which is tented and heated. We are also offering a virtual option for those who would prefer not to attend in person. COVID precautions will be followed including socially distanced seating, limited networking, and mask wearing.
The SMA is excited to announce our Keynote Speaker: Ari Santiago, President of IT Direct. Ari has an exciting perspective on CT manufacturing, looking at where it is and where it can go. Many will know him as the charismatic host of Made in America with Ari Santiago, a podcast focused on Connecticut manufacturers. To learn more about our speaker, find his Biography here
The SMA will introduce our new Executive Director, Heather Musante Mitchell, swear in our new officers, as well as honor the Students of the Year from Kaynor, Oliver Wolcott & Wilcox technical high schools. The SMA scholarship award recipients will also be presented.
