Want to learn more ?
So there you have it. We have found it, and are now SEARCH ing to see who the items belong to, so that the owner can RECOVER their belongings. Hopefully mine too :)

Which leads to my next question...... want to learn more about searching and recovering lost items underwater? I mean, things happen. People accidentally drop things from docks, off boats or even while scuba diving - all the time. Phones (me), cameras (guess who), weights (everyone ). So, if you’ve ever lost something in the water and wanted to go find it, then the Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course is for you. You will learn the most effective techniques and skills necessary for finding objects underwater. These will increase your chances of success. Along with the methods to bring up small, large or just awkward items. Search and recovery can be challenging, but a whole lot of fun.

What you can expect to learn:
  • Navigation techniques
  • Diving in limited visibility
  • Searching techniques
  • Salvage techniques
  • Knot tieing skills
  • and so much more !

This specialty course is conducted from the shore, so that you can dive in the morning, and then make the shore dives in the afternoon. It is designed to acquaint the diver with special skills and techniques necessary to successfully plan, execute and evaluate a search and recovery dive.

Who can take the course:
Any Open Water certified diver who is at least 12 years old.

So if you are intersted in adding this specialty course to your repertoire, contact us. We will be happy to get yo certified. This will count towards your Master Scuba Diver Certification !
Thanks
