Industry Perspectives Op-Ed: Building global pathways - Why the CIOB–CCA agreement matters for Canada’s construction future

Construction Quarterly Economic Insights – Winter 2026

The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) has released its Winter 2026 Construction Quarterly Economic Insights (CQEI), reporting a 1.3% increase in construction GDP in Q3 2025—outpacing the all-industry average. This signals strong sector resilience and growing opportunity despite continued risks from rising costs and labour shortages.

Celebrating 15 years: Entuitive creates scholarship to bolster the next generation of engineers

Engineering firm Entuitive is marking its 15th anniversary by establishing a $10,000 annual scholarship for structural engineering students attending Canadian universities.

A fund of this size is uncommon among mid‑sized engineering firms, says CEO Brock Schroeder, but the company sees it as a meaningful way of investing in the next generation and giving back to the industry that has supported the firm’s growth.
