Holiday Hours at The X Center

The X Center will be open Wednesday, December 24th from 5 am to 3 pm

(no group ex classes and no tot drop).

The X Center will be closed on Thursday, December 25th for Christmas Day.

The X Center will be open 5 am to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 31st

(no group ex classes and no tot drop).

The X Center will be closed on Thursday, January 1st for New Year's Day.

GMHMA Martial Arts

Join Grandmaster Han's World Youn Wha Ryu Tae Kwon Do! The classes are for all skill levels and will focus on being patient, being polite, being alert, being brave, doing your best, and respecting yourself and others while learning martial arts.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Open To: Ages 5 years old - Adult

Location: The X Center

Fees: $50 per month tuition ($60 start up cost, includes uniform, payable to GMHMA Springfield at the first class).

Pickleball

Play the fast growing and popular game of Pickleball! Open play is held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:15 am to 10:45 am at The X Center. The fee is $5 per day and members of The X Center are free.

Spring Recreational Soccer

Recreational Soccer is geared towards introducing and fostering interest in soccer. Emphasis is on learning the game and having fun.

Season Dates: Saturday, March 14th - April 18th, 2026. Practices begin the week of March 2nd.

Open To: Boys and girls ages 3 years old (must be 3 by March 14th, 2026) to 8th grade.

Location: Games are played at McCauley Park.

Fees: Members $49, Nixa Residents $54, Non-Residents $69.

Registration: Ends February 4th. Late registration from February 5th - February 8th with a $10 additional late fee. Or until maximum capacity of 800 participants. 

Spring Flag Football

Flag Football is geared towards introducing and fostering interest in flag football. Emphasis is on learning the game and having fun.

Season Dates: Saturday, March 14th - April 18th, 2026. Practices begin the week of March 2nd.

Open To: Boys and Girls, 1st - 6th grade

Location: Games are played at Rotary Park.

Fees: Members $49, Nixa Residents $54, Non-Residents $69.

Registration: Ends February 4th. Late registration from February 5th - February 8th with a $10 additional late fee. Or until maximum capacity of 300 participants. 

Spring Recreational Volleyball

Recreational Volleyball is geared towards introducing and fostering interest in volleyball. Emphasis is on learning the game and having fun.

Season Dates: March 23rd/24th - April 20th/21st, 2026. Practices begin the week of March 9th.

Open To: Girls, 3rd - 6th grade

Location: Games are played at The X Center.

Fees: Members $49, Nixa Residents $54, Non-Residents $69.

Registration: Ends February 18th. Late registration from February 19th - February 22nd with a $10 additional late fee. Or until maximum capacity of 200 participants. 

Father Daughter Dance: Sponsored by Mac Dental

Join Nixa Parks and Recreation for the annual Father Daughter Dance! Dance the night away while enjoying light refreshments, activities, and a picture to remember the evening. Thank you to Mac Dental for sponsoring the Father Daughter Dance.

Date:  February 6th, 2026, from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Who:  All ages

Fees: Pre-registration will end on February 5th: Members $25, Nixa Residents $30, Non-Residents $35.

Day of Registration will begin on February 6th: Members $30, Nixa Residents $35, Non-Residents $40.

The registration fee includes admission for one adult and one child. Each additional child is $10.

Indoor Garage Sale

Join us for the annual Indoor Garage Sale on Saturday March 7^th from 7am to 2:30pm at The X Center. Entrance is free for the public!

Registration Dates: December 1st, 2025 – February 26th, 2026.

2026 T-Ball, Baseball & Softball – Session 1

Get ready for another great season on the ballfields! Our recreational league is designed to help young athletes build foundational skills, learn the game, and develop sportsmanship in a positive, supportive environment.

Registration for Session 1 runs January 26–April 1 or until the 875-participant maximum is reached. Late registration will be accepted April 2–5 with a $10 late fee.

The season includes 6 games beginning the week of May 4, with practices starting the week of April 20. Programs are open to boys and girls ages 3 through 6th grade (must be 3 by May 4, 2026).

Fees: Members $49 • Nixa Residents $54 • Non-Residents $69

Interested in supporting a team? Sponsorships are available for $100 or $200.

2026 City Dog Tags & Dog Park Passes

It’s time to renew your dog park passes and city dog tags for 2026!

Dog park passes and city dog tags for 2026 are now available for purchase at The X Center, Monday–Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The X Center is located at 701 N Taylor Way, Nixa, MO 65714.

Dog park passes are $20 (two-dog maximum) and require proof of vaccination for Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella.

City dog tags are required for dogs living inside Nixa city limits and cost $2 (spayed/neutered) or $3 (not spayed/neutered).

Youth Art Classes at The X Center

Let your child explore their creativity with our monthly youth art classes! Each month focuses on a different medium—drawing, painting, paper mâché, or mosaics. Classes are 90 minutes long, all supplies are provided, and kids should wear clothes that can get messy.

• Who: Boys and girls, ages 6–13
• When: Two classes per session, with two sessions each month, Mondays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
• Fee: $45 per session
• Registration: Now through the Thursday before each session (or until 16 participants are reached)

Minimum of 5 participants per session. Space is limited!
