The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced a new Notice of Funding Opportunity making $1.5 billion in BUILD grants available to support local and regional transportation infrastructure projects nationwide, with applications due February 24, 2026.

These competitive grants will prioritize improvements in safety, expanded transportation options, accessible design, enhanced travel experience, and projects that bolster community and economic benefits.
