Greetings!
I've thrown events for my whole adult life. For many years I'd collect 100 email addresses at a time and send out a bcc note to everyone on my list. Those days are now done.
The other night I was emailing with a friend that is still using this method to find out whether his concert that night was still on due to the weather. He responded back, but his email went directly into my trash folder. If your personal emails are going into the recipient's trash or spam folder - you're in trouble.
Here's an article
that goes further into this topic and brings up many other reasons it's a good idea to use an email service provider. See particularly, #7.
I'm a big fan of top 10 lists. I created
this blog post
linking to all of my business email newsletters of 2018 - take a look - each one is brief and usually highlights one main issue.
I hope 2019 is treating you well. If there's any way I can support your business with my skills,
tools
and expertise, please let me know.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Love,
