Volunteer Call

Calling all volunteers! We have an exciting and BUSY spring ahead of us here at KRS. We are looking for volunteers to help fill our field day, teacher appreciation week and carnival committees. Getting involved is a great way to meet new people at KRS and is extremely rewarding. Please consider helping out, you will create memories that last a lifetime for yourself and your children!

Email krspto@madisonnjps.org if you are interested in learning more on how you can help.

Troy Cummings Author Visit

Troy Cummings is coming to KRS on February 28th! Many thanks to the elementary school principals, the MEF and the PTO for funding this special opportunity. Catch up on reading some of his books over the long weekend to make his visit even more exciting for your child!

Trivia Night Recap

Thanks to all the families who participated in Trivia Night! Due to technical difficulties, we ran the game TWICE so all could stretch their fatty brains (did you get that question correct?). Because of the double header, we are awarding prizes to the top SIX families. Congratulations to the following:

1st Place: TOTO FAMILY with $8,500,669,982

2nd Place: ARNOLDS with $12,759,670

3rd Place: ANILEATORS with $8,372,352

4th Place: ROBINSONS with $3,332,252

5th Place: CORBETTA with $3,271,940

6th Place: SCHMIDS with $1,482,950

Winning families should contact Jess Doninger, thedoningerfamily@gmail.com to claim prizes.

A special thank you to Mrs. Sims, Mr. Levine, Ms. Conner, for their help in generating questions. A big thank you to the local businesses who contributed to make this game even better with donated prizes: Bagel Nosh, Janes Nails, Madison Car Wash, The Max Challenge, Crossfit377, J&M Florist, Jules Duffy Designs, Salvatore Minardi Salon, Foundations Yoga, Butter & Jam, Tons of Toys, Crowley's Cupcakes, Main Street Subs, Waxing the City, and SugarRush. January and February are typically slow retail months, show our small businesses some love.

When you stop in, please tell them thanks for supporting the KRSPTO Trivia Night and our kids!

Volunteer Love

Many thanks to Melissa Chaput, our room parent coordinator, and all of our incredible room parents and volunteers for coming in to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our classes. They planned fun activities for all to enjoy.

Kudos to Erin Donadio and Suzanne Jacobson for spreading the love to our teachers this week. The teachers were spoiled with Sugar Lips donuts, coffee and messages of love from their students.

Thank you to Edie Arnold for planning another wonderful assembly at KRS. The children loved the laser light show.
