It's summer and the living is easy! The Team at 2Sand has been busy hanging out by the pool, enjoying the sunshine, and relaxing - but not too much! We've gathered great information for you around quality sandpaper, we've put together a how-to for making a custom profile sander, and we've even dug up a video showing you how to refurbish and repair your grill - using sandpaper, of course!

Quality Matters!
In the first of our two new blog posts, Quality Abrasives = Quality Finishes, we explore the characteristics of quality abrasives and go into detail on why you want to choose them. This blog post is a handy guide, for either choosing sandpaper for your next project or wanting to take your current project to the next level.
Our second blog post, Make a Custom Profile Sanding Block, shows step-by-step how to create a sanding block to fit custom profiles - like the molding we use as an example. Custom sanding blocks like these help take the tedium out of sanding irregular shapes and put auto body filler to a new use. That’s right – we used auto body filler to get the profile we wanted.
After a long day in our shop, it’s nice to relax by the grill and cook up some steak. But what if you spot rust on your grill? This video by Cooking Outdoors goes through the process of sanding down and repairing the surface of your grill step-by-step.
