It is hard believe it has been 60 weeks that we began to quarantine and distribute food to our friends and neighbors. We are so proud of our staff, volunteers and community. With incredible community support we have been able to respond to the needs of our friends and neighbors and fulfill the vision of our founders 31 years ago – “Nyack Center is more than a community building, a place for building community.” Thank you all for your part in our most recent chapter!
For the foreseeable future we will continue our efforts to respond to the effects of the pandemic with free meals, groceries and other necessities in addition to regular programs.
We have not been able to rent the center since March 2020, a major revenue loss that helps fund our free and low-cost programs.
