Winter Enrichment

It’s time for Winter Express Enrichment, which is sponsored by the KRS PTO. First and foremost, thank you for supporting this beloved program and for your general support of the PTO.

The Kings Road School PTO is excited to offer a four-week winter express session of afterschool enrichment classes. In an effort to offer something for everyone, you will see a variety of classes offered for different grade levels. Fees vary based on whether there are required materials for the class.

We also extend our thanks and praise to the KRS faculty and staff. They make the magic happen for our students and go above and beyond with providing quality enrichment opportunities.

Collectively, our school community is better and brighter because of things like enrichment programming and participation.

Upon opening, registration is a first come, first serve basis. This is an independent after school program and the school nurse will not be present on campus.

Classes begin the week of January 23rd. Classes end the week of February 13th. Registration opens December 5th and runs until December 7th. Please note some important information below, which is then followed by class descriptions and a master schedule.

KRS Community - Students, Parents and KRS Staff,

Today I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your unending magic and generosity always, but especially this holiday season. The contributions that you all made to the Thanksgiving Basket Fundraiser, benefitting Health Start Clinic at Overlook Medical Center, added up to nothing short of a miracle.

I have already heard from the clinic director and staff that any mother they call to come pick up a basket cries tears of joy just to have the weight of a few days worth of food off their shoulders. With tears in my own eyes, I thank you, wishing there were stronger words in the dictionary to express my gratitude for the impact that the Kings Road community had on our extended community this Thanksgiving.

KRS Parent Spotlight

If you or another parent you know has exciting news to share about a project, endeavor or a talent, we would love to showcase them in a future PAW! Please email us: krspto@madisonnjps.org.

Volunteer Love

Thank you to Jen Bronsnick and Erin McGowan for an incredibly successful book fair. Many thanks to all the parents who volunteered their time (and their phone’s calculator) to help the children browse and shop. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the families that supported our book fair and to all those who purchased books to include in our teacher’s libraries. The PTO was very excited to purchase a large majority of the remaining books. Our KRS teachers are thrilled.

Thank you to Lisa Trupia for organizing two very successful and delicious half day snack days.

Many thanks to the amazing wreath committee Samantha Lockery, Jessica Doninger and Rachel DeVivo for organizing another successful wreath sale this year. They took the wreath delays with stride and even hand delivered them to all who purchased.
