How can I protect myself? Ensure any/all edits to an MLS listing are directed by a fully executed Amendment to Listing Agreement (Form 240).
Over the last year, due to an increase in complaints involving a breach of R-108 (which include, but are not limited to, deleting listing information in an attempt to hide information from others, inaccurately displaying a property type, performing frequent immaterial updates to a listing for the purpose of having the listing redisplayed on the MLS® System's "Today's listing's" feature that is intended to promote new listings only, etc.), TRREB took action to reduce such misconduct.
