UPCOMING EVENTS

🎬 No Country for Mothers | September 16th 🎬

What if we supported mothers instead of judging them?

Join us on September 16 for an evening exploring the challenges facing mothers, caregivers, and families - and especially the systems that make caregiving harder than it needs to be.

We will be sharing excerpts from No Country for Mothers, a new documentary from Moms First, followed by an interactive community conversation. Local organizations supporting mothers and families will also be there to share

valuable resources and information.

This conversation isn't just for mothers - its for ALL OF US.

🗓️ Wednesday, September 16 | 6:30–9:00 PM

📍 Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center, West Chester

🎟️ Free and open to everyone — registration is required.

We are so excited for everything this new chapter will bring, and we can't wait to continue this work alongside you!

🗣️Community Voices - Civic Engagement 🗣️

Your voice matters! Our latest Community Voices question asks when should civic engagement begin?

  • Elementary School
  • Middle School
  • High School
  • At voting age - or even later?!

Click here to share your voice!

As always, we want to know what YOU think! As we continue helping young people understand advocacy, government, and the power of their voices, we're asking our community to weigh in.

ADVOCACY

✍️ Help Us Get Paid Leave

Across the Finish Line ✍️

Pennsylvania families shouldn't have to choose between caring for themselves or someone they love and earning a paycheck.

The Family Care Act (HB200 & SB906) would create a statewide paid family and medical leave program - and we need your VOICE to help keep it moving.

The Fund is collecting signatures on our Letter of Support calling on Pennsylvania lawmakers to prioritize and pass paid family and medical leave.

Sign the Letter of Support here.

🏛️ Take your VOICE to Harrisburg 🏛️

The Fund will be in Harrisburg for TWO days of advocacy in September 28th & 29th - and we want you to join us!

We'll be advocating for the Family Care Act and legislation supporting Pennsylvanians experiencing menopause and contraceptive access. There will be great opportunities to participate in legislative outreach, literature drops - including dropping off the Paid Leave Letters of Support mentioned above!

No advocacy experience? No problem! We'll be there to support you along the way. If you'd like to join, sign up here.
