Celebrating Our Volunteers

On April 16, we had the pleasure of gathering with many of our dedicated volunteers at Anohka Distillery for a special Volunteer Appreciation Event.

Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the distillery, shared laughs, and spent time connecting with fellow volunteers and staff. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause, celebrate, and recognize the incredible individuals who give their time so generously to support care at WestView.

We love our volunteers! Your dedication, kindness, & passion make such a meaningful difference in our community, and we couldn’t do it without you!

“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”

Because WestView Was There

Last month, our team was reminded just how critical local healthcare truly is.

When a two-day-old baby stopped breathing on the way to a routine appointment, every second mattered. Her parents acted quickly, rushing to WestView Health Centre, where a nurse ran to meet them and the care team sprang into action. In those urgent moments, skill, compassion, and readiness made all the difference.

Today, that little girl is here because the team at WestView was ready when she needed them most.

Her family knows this with certainty: those first moments at WestView saved her life. Because WestView was there, she is too.

Help Us Double the Impact for Youth Mental Health

The SMILE for Mental Health campaign is fast approaching, and we’re working to make an even bigger impact for youth mental health in our community.

We’re inviting local businesses to partner with us by matching cookie sale donations, starting at $500 and up. Every dollar matched helps us double the impact and expand support for youth who need it most.

You can also make a difference by pre-ordering your SMILE cookies in support of youth mental health.

Together, we can create brighter futures—one smile at a time.
