Kitchen Renovation is Underway
If you have been at Trinity during the week, you may have noticed the loud noises coming from behind the doors to the kitchen. Indeed, you may have noticed that the doors are locked and that we have a new wall in the back hallway near Room 114. What’s going on? Our contractor has been busy since July with the first major upgrade to our kitchen since the mid-1980s.

The Fullness of Anglican Worship
A few months ago we adjusted our Sunday worship schedule; we’re now ready to implement a few additional changes to the format of our services. These changes will help us become more familiar with the richness of the Prayer Book and the spiritual legacy of Anglican liturgy and hymnody.
Dean Jones and Canon Grosso will discuss the modifications we’ll make to our worship services and how these changes will help us move into a deeper observance of Anglican faith and practice. Please join them on August 25 during the formation hour in Satterlee Hall to learn more.

Reading Matters!
Do you have an hour to spare each week? Richland School District One along with local congregations and faith leaders have created a program called Reading Matters. They are taking steps to address the critical issue of literacy as a foundation of a strong education, and are looking to pair reading tutors with children in first and second grades for the upcoming school year.
Volunteer tutors would commit to one hour a week for the 2019 - 2020 school year. Two training sessions will be held at Trinity for volunteer tutors in August.

Welcome Center Volunteers Needed
Is your schedule opening up this fall? If so, please consider volunteering a couple Wednesday afternoons each month as a receptionist at the Welcome Center. Welcome Center volunteers are the first people that a person sees when they walk through Trinity's doors, and volunteering in this area is also a great way to give back to our church. For more information, please contact Allison Fowler at 803.771.7300 x216, or Beebe James at 803.429.8537.
