Stewardship Kick Off this Sunday

This Sunday All Souls launches our annual Stewardship Campaign when we ask parishioners to make a financial pledge to support the church next calendar year. Pledging enables the parish to plan and budget prudently which in turn helps optimize the way we care, serve, and grow as a congregation. The Campaign will last for five weeks and end on Sunday, November 15th. Please listen to this brief video from our Bishop, The Right Reverend Mariann Budde, to learn more.

Candy Needed for Treat Table

All Souls is asking for donations of chocolate Halloween candy for our Annual Treat table by October 18th. We will begin the festivities for the neighborhood Halloween Parade in our parking lot on Sat. evening, Oct. 31st. (below is our 2025 crew!)

All Saints & All Souls Day

Please let Andrea know the names of any of your deceased loved ones to be mentioned on November 1st, All Saints/All Souls Day. Email her at office@allsoulsdc.org.

Diaper Drive

Runs Now thru All Saints Day, Nov. 1

Would you believe that the average cost to diaper a baby in our region is $1,200 per year? It’s no wonder that nearly half of families struggle with diaper insecurity. To help in a small way, and to celebrate the opening of our All Souls Nursery, the Outreach Committee is hosting a diaper drive to benefit the Greater DC Diaper Bank. Between now and All Saints Day November 1, those with extra diapers, pullups, or overnights can bring them to the undercroft (open packages ok). Others can donate cash or checks through All Souls, indicate Diaper Drive in the memo section. Please see Daniel Callis for any questions.

If you have not been confirmed in The Episcopal Church yet, now is your opportunity! Saturday November 14th at 10 am., Bishop Budde will confirm you along with members of other congregations in the Diocese. This is a most beautiful venue to commit yourself to God. I will attend the service with you and you can bring friends and family.

If you have already been confirmed in another church, you can be received into the Episcopal Church at that service. If you have been away from God for a while, you can reaffirm your commitment to Christ.

Please let Mother Sara know ASAP if you want to do any of these rites on November 14th: rector@allsoulsdc.org
