I just spent a few days visiting my cousin on Maui. It was lovely to catch up with her, and to go visit the resort where my husband and I honeymooned in 1992. And to follow that up with another honeymoon-spot visit on the Big Island, where my daughter, her boyfriend and I strolled the resort where my late husband and I "swam with the dolphins." What's interesting is that both my daughter and her boyfriend (her high school sweetheart) are 29; the same age my husband was when we were here on our honeymoon.
Summertime invokes an inherent desire to connect with nature, whether beach, forest, or mountaintop. It's a time to commune, restore and re-sync our internal rhythms.
As summer continues to unfold, there are some events and offers for you to enjoy!

I rarely travel, so going to Colorado and Hawaii in just one summer is both unusual and enlivening.
What about you? I'd love to hear how simple or exciting your summer has been for you! Oh, and if you wish to do something indoors and cool (in Sacramento), I'd love to connect at the Psychic and Healing Arts Fair next weekend.
