MAY 2022 ISSUE: Bronco Family Newsletter
Bronco families,

It is with great joy and gratitude that we write to you as we approach the end of another academic year. It's hard to believe but students will be taking finals soon, and some will even be celebrating at our in-person Commencement! Whether this is your students' first time taking finals or their last, we'd like to congratulate you on all of the amazing support you've given them! The May newsletter provides a survey opportunity, information on opportunities for current Bronco families, updates to monitoring health on campus, and upcoming dates and deadline.
We Want To Hear From You!

The Office of Strategic Communications has partnered with Hanover Research to conduct a study about how colleges and universities are perceived by family members of Cal Poly Pomona students—including you.

You’re invited to take part in this important study by completing a 10-minute online survey.
Your answers will be kept strictly confidential. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email us at stratcomm@cpp.edu or broncofamily@cpp.edu.
Thank you for your help!
Sharing Wisdom with Bronco Families
Whether your journey has just begun, or you're about to celebrate your student's graduation, you all have a lot to be proud of. You also have a lot of knowledge about life as a student supporter at Cal Poly Pomona. There are likely things you wish you would have known when you were new, and probably even more that you've learned along the way throughout your student's journey.

Studies show that incoming families would benefit from your expertise, so we're asking for any tips, tricks, or advice that you would like to pass along to our incoming families. It doesn't have to be anything long or fancy, just 1-5 sentences worth of your hard-earned knowledge. Submissions will be featured on our Bronco Family website and should be sent to brocnofamily@cpp.edufor inclusion.
Updates to Monitoring Health on Campus
All students, faculty, staff and visitors coming to campus must monitor their health and symptoms daily. Effective April 23, Cal Poly Pomona transitioned away from the daily online Health Screener, but individuals must still monitor their health on their own.
Anyone visiting campus should report exposure if you have a positive test or a close contact with someone with a confirmed positive test after visiting campus. If you have questions, visit this website or email healthscreener@cpp.edu.
