In case you had not noticed (haha), we had quite the temperature spike here in Southern Arizona the past few weeks. It felt more like summer, even before the Spring Equinox! Fortunately, the forecast settles back down to somewhat “normal” spring temps looking ahead (for now)...

but NONE of that has slowed us down at BEYOND where we have been busy getting people out moving through all kinds of events and programs!

There is still time to join in one more week of Beyond the Heart Walk at Meet Me Mondays - where we have had wonderful walks with cardiologists and even a simulation of a cardiac arrest with Tucson Fire Department last night! Thanks to TMC Health for sponsoring and fostering these kinds of collaborations and community-building events! RSVP here!

BEYOND BIKES

Meanwhile, we wrapped up another AMAZING and ACTIVE quarter with Imago Dei Middle School students in both 6th and 7th grades through our BEYOND BIKES program. We are helping these kids find out how CAPABLE they are at establishing healthy habits and getting around by bicycle.

Still need to file taxes and want to reduce your AZ State Tax liability? Consider giving to Imago Dei here in support of our Beyond Bikes program. This is separate from QCO and Public School tax credit dollars - and makes a huge impact on this fantastic school and the kids we get to work with there!

Which brings us to SUMMER FUN and all we are doing to get ready for Beyond's original and inaugural Summer Mountain Bike Camps!!

LIMITED spots are filling up FAST!!

Register or tell a kid who you think could benefit!

To get ready for the summer camps and to improve EVERY DAY afterschool for kids, we are asking for YOUR SUPPORT for Arizona Gives Day - Tuesday, April 7th - to upgrade our kitchen at Beyond Racing Headquarters.

We need your help to raise $$$ to upgrade the kitchen at HQ - a place where kids can nourish themselves, connect with one another, and fuel themselves for the road (and trail) ahead!

Every dollar counts and goes directly to support kids. Early giving starts NOW - make your pledge today to help kids NOURISH themselves and go BEYOND!

BEYOND HIKING

Beyond's April hike will take place April 4th and we'll be hiking the Madera Canyon Nature Trail. This is a level 3 hike. It's an out-and-back with a total distance of 5.5 miles. Elevation gain is 879 feet. The first part of the hike will take us on a beautiful, shaded trail with lots of green foliage, similar to that on Mt Lemmon, and will cross wooden bridges over streams and washes. The trail will then turn and head up a steeper hill and follow along a ridge line that will provide stunning views of the Santa Rita Mountains. This is a pet friendly hike.

If you aren't on the Beyond hiking email list and would like to be added, email Rane at Rane@beyond-tucson.org

Our riders found success and had fun through teamwork at the

Tour of Scottsdale last weekend!

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS!!
