Construction on a New Beach Access Boardwalk at Beach Marker # 4 In Progress
This week, Sea Pines CSA contractors began construction work on a new Sea Pines CSA beach boardwalk at Beach Marker # 4 (located near Land's End adjacent to Sound Villas, commonly referred to as Parcel One).
This is the only beach access point managed by Sea Pines CSA that does not have a dedicated beach access boardwalk. The newly installed wooden boardwalk will be approximately 184 feet in length and will allow users to safely traverse over the soft sand along this beach access point. The boardwalk is planned to be approximately 12- 24 inches high with low guardrails and will greatly aid in the protection and preservation of the dunes in this area. Work will take approximately 1-2 more weeks to complete, weather permitting. Beach access will remain open for all pedestrian traffic during this time; please use caution in the work zone.
Comments or questions for the Sea Pines CSA Capital Improvements Department may be submitted online here.
