Three TX-PACE Projects Close in September

September brought three TX-PACE project closings across San Antonio and Fredericksburg: Merchants Ice, the Kimpton at the Meuse, and Meuse Retail. Together, these projects reflect the range of properties and financing structures that can benefit from TX-PACE and add to the growing portfolio of projects using long-term financing for eligible improvements across Texas. Explore these and other TX-PACE projects on TPA’s Project List.

Program Highlights

Expanding Access One Region at a Time

City of Prairie View Adopts TX-PACE

Commercial property owners in Prairie View now have a new financing option for eligible property improvements. With the city’s adoption of TX-PACE, owners of retail, office, hospitality, industrial, multifamily and other qualifying properties can explore long-term financing for energy efficiency, water conservation, resiliency, distributed generation and more.

By offering TX-PACE, Prairie View is expanding access to private financing that can help property owners make substantial improvements while supporting investment in the community. The program can help make projects more manageable by financing eligible improvements over time, potentially enabling property owners to pursue upgrades that enhance the value, performance and long-term competitiveness of their properties.

Property owners and project teams can learn more about Prairie View’s local program, eligibility requirements and next steps through Texas PACE Authority.

Introducing the Texas PACE Standards Alliance

The Texas PACE Standards Alliance (TPSA) is carrying forward the work of Keeping PACE in Texas (KPT), providing a dedicated resource for the standards, guidance, and best practices that support TX-PACE programs statewide. Building on the PACE in a Box framework, TPSA helps maintain consistency in program requirements and documentation.

By promoting clear, consistent standards, TPSA helps local governments implement TX-PACE programs, gives lenders and contractors greater confidence in the process, and makes financing more accessible for property owners. Its work complements Texas PACE Authority's role in administering local TX-PACE programs and facilitating eligible projects.
