Welcome to the April 2021 newsletter...we hope this email finds you doing well!

Important Update on inbound shipments: No April Fools'...we finally received some product this month! What normally requires a 5-week transit continues to be 13+ weeks. But we received two long overdue shipments, with the most recent arriving today.

But the logistics frustrations continue as congestion in the Ports of LA, NY and Prince Rupert are projected to get even worse, before it gets better. To add insult to injury, inbound shipping costs have more than doubled. Seems this is the new world we live in and we understand we are not alone. Our forwarding agents continue to provide updated delivery dates, but with no detail or false hope. But the good news...we are thankful that our goods do not pass through the Suez Canal!

Thank you for your patience as we all continue to wait extended periods for our newly released products.

Arrivals this month include the FDNY Mack MR Satellites, Oshkosh 6x6 Strikers for BWI and O'Hare/Midway, as well as Mack B-61 single axle tractors. Today's arrival includes the FDNY Tower Ladders and FDNY Pierce Rescue 1.

This month we'll release the newest addition to the DC Fire & EMS line, the 2008 Seagrave Rescue 2. In addition, a limited number of Mack CF 4-Door Pumpers for FDNY will be announced on April 23rd.

Unfortunately due to the uncertainty surrounding global logistics, we are currently unable to forecast more than a month at a time. But like so many, we're looking forward to a bit of normalcy ahead.

Best seller in March...

The best seller last month was the most recent round of Seagrave Marauder II Pumpers for FDNY. A limited number of Engine 69 from Manhattan and Engine 276 from Brooklyn are still available to order, with 90% of production sold in the first few days. The first museum grade Mack R single axle dump truck has been a popular addition to the line of Classic Macks. We are nearly sold out of each of the 5 color choices, which are projected to arrive later this month.

Just Arrived...at last!

After extensive shipping delays that plague our industry, the FDNY Tower Ladders have finally arrived. If you have yours on order, keep an eye on your inbox for tracking over the next week. All are sold except a few remaining units of Tower Ladder 79 in Staten Island and Tower Ladder 105 in Brooklyn.

The Pierce Arrow XT Rescue 1 in Manhattan has proven to be a great addition to any elite FDNY Collection. Production was limited to 300 units and only 25 remain. Get this one before it's gone for good!

Releasing on April 23rd...

FDNY 4-Door Mack CF Pumpers from 1983

A limited number of FDNY Engines 8, 10, 26 and 65 will be available to order on April 23rd. Each features authentic details including graphics and accessories. Production is limited to between 75 and 125 units of each. Once sold out, they will not be reproduced.
