Dear Friends

Join us in the attic this Sunday after the 10:00 AM service for lunch, games and summer cleaning fun as we get our space ready for the new school year! We are rescheduling our Piedmont Park hangout BUT come hang out with us in the Attic until 1:00 PM. This is your chance to help shape the space where we’ll grow, laugh, and learn together. If you haven't been to the Attic before this is a perfect chance!

Here’s what’s on deck:

  • Lunch together (because food makes everything better)

  • Playing & Going through games—keeping the best, ditching the rest, and making a wish list

  • Tidying up and organizing the attic: look through classrooms, gathering spaces, kitchen, and the gym

  • Prepping for Youth Open House August 17th, Back to Block August 24th Kickoff September 7th

Whether you’re into organizing, decorating, or just hanging out—it’s going to be a chill and fun way to reconnect!

Volunteer Roles

To help build stronger connections and make this year meaningful for our youth, I’ve put together a Sign-Up Genius and a Google Doc with a variety of ways you can get involved in youth ministry. The Google Doc lists all the volunteer roles—please check the boxes for anything you're comfortable signing up for. The Sign-Up Genius includes specific dates and time slots for each opportunity.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking to jump in for the first time, there’s something for everyone:

Volunteer Roles Available:

  • Provide Dinner for Sunday Night Youth Group (SNL): Help feed our hungry youth by cooking, ordering, or bringing dinner. Fan favorites include Moe’s and Papa John’s Pizza—always a hit!

  • Sunday Formation Teacher: Join a team of volunteers to lead Sunday morning formation. Don’t worry—you won’t be doing it alone. We’re building a team-based structure to make it collaborative and low-pressure, even for first-time teachers.

  • Sunday Greeters (Morning and Evening): A warm hello makes all the difference. Greeters help our youth feel seen and welcomed as they arrive for programming.

  • Drivers & Chaperones for Local Outings: Occasionally, we’ll head off-site for events like bowling, laser tag, Braves games, or other local activities. We’re looking for adults willing to drive and actively participate—whether that means scoring strikes or just being a supportive presence.

  • Retreat Drivers & Chaperones:  If you’re able to spend a weekend away, we’d love to have you join us as a chaperone or driver. It’s a chance to connect deeply with our youth and experience God’s presence in new ways.

  • Home Gathering Hosts: We’re looking for hosts willing to open their homes for small-group gatherings, game nights, or seasonal celebrations. You choose what you’re comfortable hosting.

  • Letter Writing: Help send notes and flyers through

We’re looking forward to an amazing year together, and I’m so grateful for your time, support, and energy as we continue building a meaningful youth community!

Charleston Summer 2025 Mission Trip

Meet our new Ministry Intern

Naivion Stephens!

Everyone give a warm welcome to our new Ministry Intern, Naivion Stephens!

Naivion will be joining us this upcoming fall semester, and we’re so excited to have him on board. He poised to graduate with a baccalaureate degree in Philosophy and Religion from Morehouse College. Following this milestone, he will pursue a Master of Divinity at either the University of Chicago or Harvard University. His goal is to be ordained to preach, enter the academy as a Professor of Sacred Theology, Religion, Biblical Hermeneutics, and Philosophy, and continue advancing the mission of theological education and spiritual formation. He’s looking forward to meeting all of you and jumping into ministry with our amazing community!

Let’s show him how welcoming and supportive our All Saints' family can be!

YOUTH CHOIR CORNER

Special Shoutout!

Music at All Saints' had an amazing pilot Threads Music Camp in June! We intentionally kept it small, inviting just about 15 children to participate!

I wanted to take a moment to shout out Fiona Sullivan, Darcy Gaynor, Jack Frilingos, and Will Docka, who served as counselors. I already knew they were wonderful with kids, but they went above and beyond, even packing up leftovers for the kids so they had food at home that night. They truly embodied the love of Jesus throughout the week, even when faced with a few challenging moments. They were patient, engaging, and full of grace. It was beautiful to witness.

Thank you all, and see you all around All Saints' for the rest of the summer!

YOUTH CHOIR

(grades 7-12)

Youth Choir meets in the second Floor of the Prittchet Center. Handbells are from 4:15-5 PM handbells and youth choir 5-6 PM. All Choirs are on break for the Summer!
