Dear AltaMed Employees,
We are pleased to announce the 2020 AltaMed Holiday Help Program. The purpose of the Holiday Help Program is to support employees facing financial challenges during this time of year. Life is full of unexpected challenges, and we may not always be prepared to deal with unforeseen financial hardship.
If you, or one of your team members, are going through a difficult time, you or a team member may qualify for monetary help through the Holiday Help Program. If you would like to request monetary help, we encourage you to submit a request. All awards will be confidential and need-based.
Due to the volume of requests, support will be provided to those who are in greatest need. Applicants who received an award in the prior year may be eligible to receive an award this year, although the award will not exceed $100.
Following this communication, you will receive a separate email with a link to apply for the Holiday Help Program or to apply on behalf of an AltaMed employee in need. The follow-up email and link are unique to you. To maintain confidentiality, please do not forward the email you receive to another employee.
The deadline to apply is close of business Friday, November 6. Please ensure your home address is updated in Town Square. To update your address, go to Employee Self Service, click on personal information, and select addresses.
Remember, as an AltaMed employee you have many resources available to help you during a difficult time. AltaMed offers employees the Life Assistance Program through Cigna, at no cost to you. The Life Assistance Program offers you access to a professional advocate who can assist you and develop a solution for your situation. AltaMed is partnered with UnidosUS to offer Financial Wellness Coaching until December 31. This service is free and completely confidential.
