This Weekend Is Loaded With Auctions
I had a good time at the E8 Cardinal Conclave this weekend at Camp Raven Knob in North Carolina. Saturday I participated in the OAExpo with a booth on the tradition of campfire blankets in Scouting. I think I won over some converts and planted the seeds for some people to start a project!
Order of the Arrow Auctions Up For Bids
There was some light patch trading Friday night and I got to see some of the familiar faces in the North Carolina circles. I caught up with Larry Lane, Evan Butler, Rick Horne, Jason Hardy, Paul Huffman and others that stopped by my table to chat. I also met several people who had read about the passing of my mother and I appreciated their condolences.

Next week I have an unbelievably short trip of 14 miles door to door from my warehouse to get to the E8 Conclave at Belk Scout Reservation. I am going to repeat my booth on campfire blankets to a new audience. There is not an OAExpo style event on the schedule for this conclave but the host lodge agreed to make a space for me to set up.
