Dear Family,
Since 1995, Project GiveBack has been making a difference in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Over the years, our dedicated group of volunteers have been consistent in coordinating service events that touch the lives of those in need. We are still committed to helping our low-income constituents as well as those who have fallen on hard times.
We are currently counting down to our 29th Annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution Presented by UPS. Mark your calendars for #GiveBackSaturday 11.18.2023. We are very excited about the title sponsorship of UPS. We are happy to be working with our EventsDC partners to return to the DC Armory.
Our 2023 target is 5,000 food baskets to underprivileged families in DC, Maryland and Virginia. In order to do that, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT. Over the past 28 years, individuals like you have made a difference in our community by supporting the efforts of Project GiveBack. In order to meet our goal, we are soliciting your financial support.
I am calling upon friends, family and total strangers to give generously to sponsor grocery baskets for families and individuals in need during the Thanksgiving Holiday season. This year, more than ever, we need you as we embark on one of the area's best community service projects. In a post pandemic world we are still dealing with supply chain issues, and soaring prices have devastated several of our neighbors. We MUST react aggressively. I am asking you to sacrifice and find a way to make a difference in the lives of our friends and family in need. Your financial contribution not only provides support for a worthy cause; it also demonstrates your commitment to making a difference. Please consider making your donation
We anticipate our volunteer registration to be online in early September. Stay tuned for logistic updates by following us on Twitter and Instagram (@projectgiveback), become a fan on Facebook (facebook.com/projectgiveback) or visit us on our website www.projectgiveback.org.
