Clean Energy Update
Dear Reader,
Happy March! Spring in New England is always unpredictable, and this week's weather ranging from frigid temperatures one day to over 60 degrees the next exemplifies that. However, we know that in a few short months we may be experiencing extreme heat and, with that, an increase in heat-related illnesses. Now is the perfect time to prepare! As part of your preparedness toolkit, we encourage you to consider how to protect workers. This month, we wanted to highlight the impacts of climate-driven heat on workers in Massachusetts and efforts at the State and Federal level to improve workplace standards and protections for extreme heat. You can learn more on in our new blog post on www.MAPC.org/planning101.
We also encourage you to come work with us here at MAPC! We are seeking diverse candidates for our Senior Clean Energy and Climate Specialist and Clean Energy and Climate Specialist ll positions. Check out the jobs posted below, share with your networks, and join us!
