Meet the Director from One of the Newest Affiliate Main Street Programs
|
|
Meet DeAnn Davison!
DeAnn Davison is the Main Street Executive Director of Downtown Maryville, which became an Affiliate Main Street program again near the end of 2022 following interest from new board members in being recognized as a Missouri Main Street program once again. DeAnn is a double Bearcat having earned both her undergraduate and Master’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University. Throughout her professional career she has worked in television, public relations, and marketing for over 15 years. These positions allowed her to work with a variety of individuals and learn the importance of building relationships, which is key as a Main Street director.
In her role as executive director DeAnn has seen that “Even with the pandemic, our downtown continued to see growth. More businesses are moving downtown and established businesses are expanding and making improvements to their buildings.” In addition, she enjoys that as director she can “offer a unique perspective to encourage the development of Downtown…and… be a force to channel [Maryville’s incredibly passionate community members and their] energy to create a stronger, more vibrant downtown.

Main Street Professional Directory
Historic buildings continue to survive against the increasingly volatile weather because they were built strong and sound. This spring treat your downtown building to a little bit of TLC by utilizing Missouri Main Street Connection’s Professional Directory to connect with a mason who can assess your building’s brick. Having your building assessed annually is important to keep them strong as no building is impervious to the weather.
Call MMSC or email Ben White at ben@momainstreet.org to use the free Professional Directory to connect with masonry professionals for any restoration or repair services or recommendations on maintenance and cleaning products.
