Tapped, Collected, and Flowing - Maple Season is ON!

Maple season is in full swing, and our forestry crew is deep in the woods tapping, collecting, boiling, and bottling as fast as the trees will give. With this week’s warm spell, we’ve officially hit peak flow — though things may taper off soon, the long‑term forecast hints at another sweet run next week. We’re on track to produce more than 50 gallons of syrup this season, and the numbers so far tell the story:

🌲 450–500 taps set across Weston’s woods

🛠️ 5 sap collections across 3 forest sites

🍁 34 gallons of syrup bottled

📚 23 maple field trips with our education department

Pre-order now and pick up at the farmstand May 9

From tomatoes and squash, to zinnias and sunflowers, we offer 36 varieties of seedlings to choose from. Land's Sake's farmers plant and nurture these seedlings using the best potting soil around (VT compost, certified for organic production). No synthetic chemicals are used in spraying. Order online while supplies last, and pick up at the farmstand Sat., May 9, between 10am - 2pm.

Open Farmyard

Sundays and Wednesdays this March

Join Land’s Sake farm educators for free weekly drop-in activities, geared for ages 2.5-7. Programs include stories, visiting the goats, exploring the chicken coop and more. Activities are geared for small children with caregivers, but children of all ages are welcome.
